Get to know Johanna

Johanna co-leads the project, bringing together her experience in landscape management and strategy game development to support participatory approaches to land use.

Her work focuses on connecting research and practice, with a particular emphasis on land-use challenges and collaborative processes in Scotland. Alongside her role in the group, she worked with LEAF Inspiring Change on game development, facilitation, and participatory land-use processes in Switzerland.

Johanna holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from ETH Zürich, specialising in Forest and Landscape Management. Her thesis explored the impact of river restoration in the Ericht Catchment on salmon populations.
