Mapping of the actors and resources

Between November 27th and December 1st, 2023, we conducted several participatory workshops with relevant social actors of the Ericht catchment. These workshops aimed to unveil the intricate dynamics of interactions among actors and their utilization of diverse resources across the landscape. During this period, we engaged with the following groups:

  • Farmers

  • Estate owners

  • Estate manager

  • Tourism sector

  • Community representatives

  • Rewilders

  • Fishermen

The diagram below is a summary of our findings, and it serves as the pillar for the strategy game design.

Envisioning ideal landscapes

On the 25th of November, 2023, we asked the visitors of the Blairgowrie market to show us what their ideal landscape looks like. Participants could place different land use activities across the Ericht catchment.
